28 December 2024 - Walk off that Crimbo Excess!
You will be desperate to get out of the house by now so join us on this walk from Gargrave to burn off some of those Christmas treats!

11 January 2025 - The Only Trig Point in the Village!
Our first walk to welcome in 2025 is from Long Preston visiting the trig point on the top of Newton Moor then finishing at Hellifield.

25 January 2025 - Ribblehead to Horton via the Pennine Way
A chance to walk part of the Pennine Way with great views of the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

08 February 2025 - Snowdrops around Appleby
February Fairmaids, Dingle-dangles, Candlemas Bells, Mary's Tapers galore. One of our favourite walks at this time of year!

22 February 2025 - Bingley and the Two Mortons
A walk full of interest from Bingley station past the famous Five Rise Locks to East and West Morton and return along the canal.

08 March 2025 - Long Preston to Settle via the Ribble Way
Follow the Ribble Way through gently rolling countryside from Long Preston to the picturesque market town of Settle.

15 March 2025 - St Ives Estate and Alter Crag
A walk from Keighley to Bingley passing through the historic St Ives estate, the former home of the Ferrands family.

22 March 2025 - Ribble Valley Line: Langho to Clitheroe
Another opportunity to use the Yorkshire Dales Explorer train to visit the Ribble Valley.

Note: We strongly recommend making return connections at Settle rather than Hellifield due to additional facilities and railway staff being on hand should problems arise.
Train arrives 17:10 for Leeds 17:58 and Carlisle 17:49.

A beautiful moorland walk from Bingley to Keighley via the impressive gritstone rocks of the Doubler Stones.
