01 June 2025 - Oxnop Ghyll: Gunnerside to Muker
Alight Ribblehead for bus to Gunnerside (return fare to Gunnerside ). Fabulous views of Swaledale and Oxnop Ghyll, passing through beautiful Dales villages.
Route: Gunnerside, Ivelet, Oxnop Ghyll, Thwaite, Muker
Distance: 7.5m/12.1km
BUS: This walk makes use of the Northern Dalesman Bus to Gunnerside. Bus return from Muker. The bus fare is payable.
07 June 2025 - Horton to Settle via Fountains Fell
Discover Fountains Fell, a lesser-known neighbour of Pen-y-Ghent, on this long and challenging walk to Settle.

14 June 2025 - Long Preston to Settle via Cleatop Wood
Short, leisurely walk with lovely views and plenty of time to visit the shops, cafes and pubs of Settle when we finish.
Route: Long Preston-Green Gate Lane-Mitchell Lane-Cleatop Woods-Settle

21 June 2025 - High Cup Nick and Great Rundale Tarn
A choice of two walks on the longest day of the year! This is a very strenuous walk for fit, experienced longer distance walkers.

21 June 2025 - Appleby Circular
The second choice of walk is for those who prefer a shorter, less strenuous day starting from Appleby with a visit to beautiful Dufton.

A meandering route close to Kirkby Stephen with marvellous views of the Eden countryside

05 July 2025 - Pottering around Horton-in-Ribblesdale
Short, leisurely walk around Horton-in-Ribblesdale with lots of Pots to marvel at including some of the lesser visited spots!

12 July 2025 - Ribble Valley Line: Langho to Whalley
Travel on the Yorkshire Dales Explorer train service to the beautiful Ribble Valley. Important: see our website for train info.

Note: We strongly recommend making return connections at Settle rather than Hellifield due to additional facilities and railway staff being on hand should problems arise.
Train arrives 17:10 for Leeds 17:58 and Carlisle 17:49.

A walk through the Eden Valley with views of the Lake District and North Pennines.

26 July 2025 - Wild Boar Fell: the Fourth Peak?
A remote hike to one of the highest peaks in the northern Yorkshire Dales. An exhilarating walk with great views of the Howgills.
